Ice conditions around Speculator?

Heading up to camp this weekend and was wondering if there is any open water in the Speculator area? I spoke to Ward last night (Speculator) and he said he hasn't heard about any open water, so I thouight I'd check with folks here. Thanks in advance for any info you might have. Lance
