Never fished Horseshoe but I have other ponds with TMs. I once asked some old-timers on one of these lakes how they caught tigers. They said, "big fish, big lures." So, the last few times I've been to these waters I've used my biggest top-waters or spoons that imitate bait fish, which in the case of one pond is perch. I hooked up once on one and lost it at the kayak. I have a buddy that swears by orange spinnerbaits. Have fun, get a photo if you get one.

Anybody spend anytime fishing for Tigers in Horseshoe in Piercefield? Even if you haven't, could you provide some tips. Would like to try trolling with my "Nucanoe" this Fall.
