          But please do it soon.

My Carpathian Truffle Pig is dragging me toward the Chanterelles.

Sero, Where do you find this stuff? I'm not sure I want to know why...

But anyone with a Carpathian Truffle Pig is alright by me!

Sero, I am on a far quest as of one I've never before taken for brookies in early October and I will remember to not have these hymns in my mind as I ply the heavenly Adirondack pond.
Red means run son, numbers add up to nothing.....

                  ...I am bringing my Concubine.

Reminds me of my own heritage, Carpathian Lemko folk of southern Poland where I was fortunate to have visited and found relatives living there before Covid hit. I discovered numerous such songs of the region and of nearby Ukraine. Including the Winged Hussars, who were given credit for having saved Vienna and the West from the invading Mongols from the Far East. Many years ago I interviewed my pateranal grandfather before he died and he sang a song on tape for me that I did not much think about until a recent discovery piqued my memory. How surprised was I to discover that he was singiing the traditional Winged Hussar song of the Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth. My mother's family is from Lithuania.

These Cossack Ukranian guys are also in my deep ancestry:

                    Never mess with Cossack women:
"Now I see the secret of making the best person, it is to grow in the open air and to eat and sleep with the earth." -Walt Whitman

Oh, well, I thought it was worth a shot. The fly has been casted upon the forums waters…

"Get your mind off trout,if you can.I know they`ve got you.I can see it. Every fraternity of sufferers knows its brothers.Trout hook men;men don`t hook trout.Better try and throw the hook while you can.By the time you`re a grown man there probably won`t be a pure trout healthy enough to fiddle with"...
