Fishing around Lewey Lake

Thanks, good luck. I'm heading to Durant next.

Heading to Durant for some car-camping in late July - never been to that lake any general tips / feedback would be of interest.

Lake Durant is very peaceful. It is a good lake for kayaks and canoes. There is an over abundance of mil-foil which makes fishing and boating challenging. If your looking for fishing lg. mouth and tiger musky are there. But the mil-foil has made this lake a mostly a top water lure lake. If your fishing from shore across the lake from the camp ground is an old road that has several spots you can fish from. Otherwise a kayak, canoe or small boat will take you all over the lake.
