Sawteeth is closed as it has a fire on the scenic trail due to a campfire by overnight hikers. Both trails are closed though. I was going to hike it when i learned the morning of. I did Giant and RPR on Thursday and we still saw planes going over. On Friday we heard more news that they are still attempting to put the fire out - that was July 19.
