I was planning a trip there and was wondering if there is any good fishing in that area. I will be staying near Inlet. I think the name of the campground is Limkiln Lake{not sure about the spelling}

hey there, i was at the moose river just south of inlet a few weeks ago, i saw plenty of people fishing the streams and river in that area. i'm not sure about the lake though. -
Limekiln Lake has some Big Splake (hybrid btw brookie and laker) in there, possibly state record, depending on who you ask. I have camped there 3 times this summer already and done well. There are aslo some huge bullheads. If you fish from shore late at night(after dark) the Splake are feeding shallow and I did well with worms and minnows and a lighted bobber which may sound dumb but it works great. I actually did better at night from shore than during the day in my canoe.Comment
