Serotonin,
Thanks for the song.It was very differant, but funny. My wife was wondering what I was laughing at while I was on the computer. She just rolled her eyes and walked away. They don`t understand. Thanks for the laugh.
I also see you had some luck again.Looks like your partner was just as excited over those browns as you were. How was the water? Was it on its way up?Or does it need to melt the snow for it rise?I remember you saying it can be very dangerous in the spring. Are the trout getting alittle more active?Later.

Hey WB-
As you know, laughing out loud is still fun, despite nobody laughing w/you.
I always enjoy people bursting into laughter when they think they're alone. I have had people tell me that I laugh in my sleep.
Anyhow, the water's been very fishable all winter long on that one particular stream, although it's been a little scary sometimes. We haven't had too much snow this winter, but it's gotta melt and go somewhere. If it melts all at once, and/or the rains add to it, it will get Biblical, as usual. That's when you want to fish somewhere else. I'll eventually dig up those pictures where 60' trees look like twigs, as the river throws them around w/impunity.
Meanwhile, here's some photos from Saturday, when the river was in a kinder mood. Taken w/a disposable that, for the most part, survived a dunking. (There Is a fish in the first photo).Comment

Not Me!!!.Every shot tells a story.I`m still waiting for my chance to get out there with the fly rod. Those pics are sometimes the next best thing to being there.
O.k., bulls**t aside.I am quite envious of not only the size of those fish ,but ,the consistency he hooks them.It seems like he`s catching the same fish over and over. But, a closer look and you see that each brown has differant markings, kypes, size and/or colorations. Also, take into account the cold temps. of standing in frigid water in the middle of the winter, makes these pictures that much more memorable and valuable.
Sorry sacco, but ,I like them as you can see,by my ramblings on here.Keep `em coming Serotonin!.I think Sacco needs to get in the pics.Later, guys.

Bad news for the Bored.
I keep making More.
Went out today, and finished another roll.
Need to start going underwater when the weather warms.
Sorry for the poor quality on the last batch.
I haven't been able to figure out any new knots to twist my frozen body into while trying to photograph fish, w/o damaging them or myself as my two freezing hands and numb feet try to negotiate rod, camera, fish, line, slippery rocks, current, etc. while fishing solo. Most of the time I can't even look thru the viewfinder (toomany things going on), and the finder is fogged up anyhow... Try it sometime, w/o killing yourself or the fish. Then try it winter. Oh yeah, you gotta catch the fish too.
I'm looking for a camera-person/videographer, interested in secret fishing spots and adventure. All expenses paid, for the right person. You can even fish while I handle some camera duty. People bored w/celestial trout need not apply.Last edited by serotonin; 03-16-2005, 06:48 PM.Comment

Been There Done That, (In my younger Days) They do make nice pictures....But a 5 lb Brown in the dead of winter is ....well.... alittle more exciting to land than snagged stick... anyways I aways enjoyed the time out and Most importantly the Guaranteed
solitude because not many hardy folks do that sort of thing in the extremes!!!
Glad you are enjoying it and you obviously know how to fish slow with the lite bite and all....Great pixs!!! Stay Dry...and most of all have fun!!!

Ever notice that the people who are late
are often much jollier than the people who have to wait for them?Comment
