Can Anyone Give Me Some Recommendations On Where My Family Could Stay For Our Annual Ice Fishing Weekend. We Would Like To Stay Directly On A Lake Where We Could Walk Out To Fish. I Have Heard That The Fishing On Lake George Has Been Very Good This Year.
We Would Prefer Some Type Of Cottage But Would Stay At A Motel.

If you wanted to fish Lake George you could stay at the Trout House Village Resort(www.trouthouse.com) in Hague which is right on Lake George. It is open year round. It is very expensive "in season" but the prices come down considerably in the winter.
