    npt conditions..

    any idea what the conditions of the npt around whitehouse to silver lake will be the first week of may.. i would expect some mud, but how bad? first time doing this trail...

    Probably pretty bad, plus the road to Whitehouse will be closed a little under 2 miles from Whitehouse so you'll need to hike that too.

    Might be better going in from Upper Benson

    But be prepared for mud.

        If you were going to do Whitehouse to Piseco, there's a section where that could happen.

        Just a pretty big mess, but I hope that you will go through, not around the mud.

              If this year is a normal year you will have a lot of mud in areas.
