Trail register at Godfrey Rd TH?

That's all... just wondering if there's a register at Godfrey Rd. Might be good to know if there are any hikers in front of us when we go out there the end of this month (unlikely in April?) Thanks!

It's been a while since I hiked from that trailhead, and my memory is hazy- but that being said, I would be a bit surprised if there wasn't a trail register there. That was essentially the southern terminus of the NPT for years, and while it's not directly on the NPT anymore it is still a pretty major trailhead for that corner of the ADKs.

With the opening of trout season on April 1st, you may encounter some folks camping out along the NPT during your trip.

There was a register there a couple years ago.

we were there 3-28, there is one close to the parking lot, pictured above, and then there's another just after you cross the bridge above the falls. trail is not fun to hike now, not enough for snowshoes, too sticky for spikes...

Thank you for this. Sounds like a perfect time for me to visit an old favorite spot.

I was there yesterday and it was still there. Someone wrote in a target of Three Ponds Peak on Monday; I climbed Wallace Mtn (Tuesday). Can't say if it's still there today.
