This stretch would also include the completely submerged section just south of Wakely Dam by the Carry lean-to. As I understand, it’s a couple hundred feet of trail that is around knee deep water due to beaver activity. I haven’t been there myself since the trail wa submerged several years ago, though.

That includes the West Canada Lakes stretch... I'd 100% go prepared for mud generally, even if it hasn't rained much prior to your trip.

I'd also go prepared for wet stream crossings (bring Crocs/sandals), as a lot of the smaller streams aren't bridged. But in a typical summer season it would take a lot of rainfall for any of the crossings that don't have bridges to be dangerous, I think. So unless it rains non-stop for like a week straight leading up to your trip, I wouldn't worry too much about the crossings otherwise.

It's certainly possible that one of the bigger bridges could wash out with spring runoff between now and then, so it can't hurt to check the DEC's trail conditions page closer to your trip for more up-to-date info.

I'll be on the NPT starting in late June 2024. I've seen videos that indicate there are some stream crossings with no bridges, even though foot bridges are marked on the map. Other than the typical muck and blow downs, what are the conditions I should expect? Any washed out bridges? Any lean-tos in disrepair?
