3 Day Hike - Need Opinions

I am planning a 3 day trip and wanted everyone's opinion

We are experienced and have been to the Dak's before for 3-4 day hikes. Probably do this hike in October before the ice comes.
Did Marcy last November and it was ice everywhere, so want to avoid that.

Start: ADK Loj Parking

Day1: Wright, Algonquin, then maybe Boundary and Iriquois, Camp around lake or push to feldspar or other leanto on way to 4 corners

Day2: Skylight and Marcy, Camp at Lake Arnold

Day3: Mount colden then Avalanche pass to ADK Loj

End: ADK Loj Parking

I think the mileage and ascent/descent for each day sounds reasonable for someone with experience. If you haven't read the guide book yet, be aware that the one mile thru Avalanche Pass will be a slow go, lots of ladders, boulders, etc. Your 3rd day is just a full one, so I don't know if you have a long drive after that. Of course, if you're all feeling tired, you could just run up and down Colden and hike out via Lake Arnold.

My alternative is the following as some are saying descending colden with a pack on the Lake Colden side is pretty rough going:

Start: ADK Loj Parking

Day1: Wright, Algonquin, then maybe Boundary and Iroquois, Camp around lake or push to feldspar or other leanto by redfield on way to 4 corners

Day2: Day Hike from Lean-to (BaseCamp) to Skylight travel back to lake (not fond of backtracking usually but may have to) Maybe redfield after or just relax down by lake

Day3: Avalanche pass to ADK Loj

End: ADK Loj Parking
