State Land on Blue Mountain? Info request.

Based on a somewhat dated Plinth and Quoin map I have drawn a route that goes straight north to the summit of Blue Mtn. from about -HERE-.
I was wondering if my map is accurate in indicating this route to be on state land. Most of the mountain is indicated as being on private property.

Is your Route coming from the Rte. 30 trailhead on top of the hill right before the museum? This trail goes to the summit where the lookout tower is and continues on to private land(Blue Mtn Lake + Terrell Pond Clubs. Your route would therefore deadend here.

Neil, I may be wrong....but I think there are some major cliffs if you go straight in from the rest area across from lake durant. All state land.

Yes, the trail going from the rest area by Durant is state land. As you can see on your map this trail goes around Oneill Flow and on to Terrell Pond. This trail doesn't go anywhere near the top of Blue Mtn.

Where he's going he won't need trails.

The overall pitch of the slope as viewed from the highway (arriving in Blue Mtn. Lake eastbound along the 28N) is petty mild. I'm confident any intervening cliffs can be easily skirted.

I'll also confirm that it is state land.

                    Great idea Neil!

I've always thought that that parking area on 28 right there, would work out nice for icefishing Durant, or for checking out the marshes and stream flowing into the middle of Lake Durant from the Blue Ridge Wilderness. I never thought about climbing Blue Mt from there.
                    Kudos!
