    Shelving Rock Road

Does anyone know whether Shelving Rock Road, on the east shore of Lake George, is drivable right now?

    Thanks.

    Yeah,
just drove the entire length on wed, 21st. road was open all the way to the end, with limited parking. Some of the steeper inclines and sharper corners were tricky...snow collapsing from the banks. My AWD Element had no trouble at all.

It's located in Washington County, in the town of Fort Ann on the East side of Lake George. If you follow 149 from I-87 exit 20 towards Fort Ann, you would take a left onto Buttermilk Falls Road, this eventually becomes Shelving Rock Road.

          Thanks, StripperGuy.
I am thinking of doing Shelving Rock Mountain from the Lakeside Trail this weekend.
Hopefully I will get one day with clear skies.
Last time I was there, there were no views due to low clouds.
          Thanks again.

Just an FYI, the weather this weekend is going to be bad. If you believe the weather reports, there is a storm moving in thurs night/friday and it's going to be rain mixed with snow all weekend. You might catch a break on sunday but be prepaired for some slick slopes if you plan on climbing any mountains. Best of luck
