Does anyone have any info on an interesting looking peak called the Pinnacle? The one north of Fort Ann NY. Here is a topozone link http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?lat=...ad27&layer=DRG
We spotted it from route 149 and it looks like a small version of Noonmark. Appearing like a total bushwhack it sure looks interesting. anybody know anything about it?

Have you contacted Spence (aka 'peak_bagr') or Brian (aka 'bushwacker') about this? Seems to me, if anyone knows about it, they would, as they're doing all named peaks in every quad! (or something like that).

Thanks Dick I forgot about their quest, lets see if either of them chips in on this. I am not sure but I think this hill may be just outside the park so it may not have been on their radar. We saw them a few weeks ago and that Pinnacle looks impressive. I am thinking it is all private property but don't know for sure. Unlike many other counties, Washington County does not seem to have their property maps available on their website. That would have been a help.
