    Heart Lake -> Flowed Lands

    Im looking to get a good 1/2 day hike from heart lake, NOT MT JOE. and was wondering if we left at 7, could we get to avalanche lake, and then flowed lands, and back before say 1 or 2???

    How long is that hike...

      It's do-able in that time. The section through Avalanche Lake will slow you down a bit. It's about 10 miles, 3-4 of them over rugged terrain.
