    Winehiking - what is that?

I've discovered an intriguing term that I don't find in the dictionary, but it's starting to show up on the 'Net here and there where outdoorsy fun happens.

So what is "winehiking," anyway? Thoughts, experiences, or embellishments, anyone?

Clue #1: The term was coined in northern Europe.

Clue #2: It is practiced in northern California.

Clue #3: It is a fine heady experience.

    Thanks for your two cents!

I guess it's for those who can't get high in the outdoors on their own!!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Are you sure it's not whinehiking? I've been on a few of those...

I admit I have been known to be a bit of a Whine-Hiker. I am trying to toughen up and stop this, for my Husband's sake.
