? backcounty conditions - Keene valley up

Hey all - new here :

Wondering is some of ya can lend a hand. Group of us have rented out camp peggy O, Sunday and Monday night. Wondering what conditions are in the area ? We want to ski/skin up from the Garden trail head....am I dreaming here ? Is there enough coverage ? Also anyone khow how the skiing or just general conditions are up high ? Plan "B" is hiking/crampon style....

On Monday conditions were fine for hiking, im not so sure about skiing, due to rain and warm weather last week lots of roots and rock tops were exposed so I would imagine it would be a pain to try to navigate around them on skis. Alss we got a lot of rain here yestreday, I live about 15 min north of keene and the snow is pretty spotty. I would say to give the ADK Loj's weather line a call. You can reach them at 518-523-3518. The rest of the week looks like snow here and there and rain on saturday. Sunday and monday look nice. Never know though, It's always changing.
