The Herkimer Cty LML is the Adirondack League Club Lake. This LML was owned or leased by a smaller club, and is the headwaters of the south branch of the Moose River. Lots of Shallow Lakes, Indian Lakes, Mud Lake, or pond, all over the ADKs.

I thought it must be something like that. The ALC is so entrenched & wealthy that it was a hard scenario to believe -- like hearing that the Ausable Club had to leave their reserve. We're not talking some small hunting club renting land.

Thank you Brett for the recon. I will definitely use the Wilson Ridge Route when I get up there again next year. Unfortunately got distracted by an injury this summer and didn't have time to regroup.
