Big Tupper ski resort to open again

The Big Tupper ski resort has been sold to a group of investors who want to build an approximately 700-unit condominium and luxury home development around the slopes.

And while plans, especially for the real estate, still face regulatory reviews, the seller said Big Tupper's new owners are hoping to open the ski slopes in December 2006, ending what will be a five-year hiatus....
