I agree with Trail Boss. The Great Range has been discussed in a great amount detail both here and on ADKHighPeaks.com, and in the internet in general. Start with the threads TB linked you to, and then use Google to find more resources as needed. The ADK guidebook and High Peaks map are other resources you should have at hand while planning your trip. (A glance at the ADK map will indicate pretty quickly to you what your camping options are.)
Don't take this the wrong way... I don't at all mean to be dismissive. It is just that so many resources on the Great Range exist already that it's not really worth relating the same information again in a new post until you have a solid plan already in mind with some more specific questions.

2 Day 3 Night, Great Range.
My wife and I are planning a trip for September, I've heard the gothics have some of the best views so we're looking to include them and any other peaks in the range. Our last trip to the Seward range we made the mistake of trying to do a big circuit trip while also hitting the peaks, without the proper gear also. I learned quickly the better option is to set up a base camp and do day hikes out of there, and of course an upgrade in our gear and load.
If anyone has any suggestions on the best place to park, set up a camp, what peaks are worthwhile we would greatly appreciate it. Also we are both very fit and can handle doing lengthy day hikes.
