True story.
I always made a fishing trip to the base of the rapids for walleye fishing in early May
It was great fishing until the locals fished it out before the start of the season.
Anyway, I carried my canoe through knee deep snow to fish Dawson Pond, only to find that the pond was still frozen. Dang!
