Hi all
Heading to Blue Mountain 2nd and 3rd week of aug, does anyone know how the fishing has been?

Big Blue

The fishing there this year has been very tough. I have fished it about hlf dozen times so far after ice-out and only managed a couple of Salmon. Fished it while the water was hard and didn't do that well either. I have a very close friend that runs the Minnow Brook Lodge on the lake and he loves to fish and goes out all the time and he also said his year has been tough. If you like I can ask him if he would show you a few spots while you are there.

The fishing on the Indian down the road has been very good this year.

I spoke with my buddy this AM and he said he would be happy to point you in the right direction. Do you know where Minnow Brook is?

Hi - for a nice day hike and to catch some small brownies and brookies - hike into Tirrell Pond - on the " back side of Blue Mountain - pretty beach on the North end - fair to midland fishing - always see deer and other wildlife
