Mt. Marcy Condition?

Heading to Mt. Marcy Friday night for a day hike on Saturday, wonder what the condition is in the high peaks region. I'll bring standard winter hiking gears but wonder what the weather/snow condition would be.

"...thin layer of snow from 2,000 feet and up with 3-4 inches above 4,000 feet...For now and through at least Saturday, expect winter conditions on the summits with some hikers as of last Sunday reporting that traction aids were helpful."
