Mt Morris is privately owned by a group out of the Saratoga Springs called the LA group. They are currently looking to redo the old ski resort, and add a few buildings, including a marina on Big Tupper.

Mt Morris has a firetower on the top of it, however I'm not sure if its safe for climbing; and in any case I went up the access road about a month ago, and everything up there is posted, no trespassing.

The local paper "the Free Press" had something about one of the people from the LA Group in town did a presentation for the people of Tupper Lake not all that long ago, the guy's name is Mike Foxman. I hope this helps some.
