Elk Lake snow conditions - ???

Anyone been in or near the Elk Lake trailhead this week, after the storm of March 1st?? Need to know how much snow that storm dumped, if possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Probably a little too late, but:

Elk Lake Rd, just at the Elk Lake property line had about 27 to 30 inches....that's at about 2000'.....that was on Wednesday 03-02.

If you need snow info go to:

I collect the data at 15 sites in the ADK's for NOAA.....

click on the Burlington VT link to start, then click on Essex county

There's a ton of info if you poke around...

      Thanks....

There is indeed a ton of snow up there... it snowed all day yesterday (Sunday), adding 3 or four more inches to the base. A good day to ski...a good day to die.

Hey jeclose, I met a gentleman named Steve yesterday from Mechanicsville (maybe you know him?). We chatted about his time in Stillwater as well, and I spent 8 years as a child in Hillside Ghetto (wasn't that bad when I lived there, but boy is it crapola now!). Small world!

Just chiming in to say hi and exchange geography.
