Crossing the Street Nye Brook

A few of us are thinking about climbing Street & Nye on 3/15.

What can we expect crossing that brook on the way? Is it ever totally impassable or can it be crossed if we move up and down the brook some looking for a better spot.

If it's warm next week I expect the brook will be high but I don't know how bad it can get.

I'm assuming you're talking about Indian Pass Brook?

It was frozen solid on Feb. 16th, but I heard that it thawed during that warm weekend. One of the trip reports I saw from last weekend, said that it was frozen again, so who knows.

I'll let you know after this weekend what kind of shape it's in. A couple of us are heading up there this weekend.

Headed down to the Catskills instead this past weekend because of the weather. Sounds like everyone that has bailed because of the weather the past few weeks will be there this weekend.
