Heres the webcam on top of Mccauley Mtn in Old Forge. This cam is awesome for checking snow status of Old Forge for us flatlanders stuck down here in the city.

okay it's actually a snow drift so it doesn't really count but i did step into knee high snow on the south east side of Cascade on 11/9. On the right side as soon as you start to climb the big vertical rock face.Set out runnin' but I take my time

Snow Depth Map
Here's a similar, but more selective detailed snow depth map. I've already set it up for the ADK area the afternoon of 11/16/2007. I used it a lot toward the end of last year for hikes, mainly in Vermont. Don't forget to change the date from it's present setting for this afternoon.
