    Can bears really do that?

I'm looking at my "Trails of the ADK High Peaks Region" map by the ADK MC and noticed a drawing on one side of 2 bears trying to steal a food bag hanging from a tree. The humerous part is that the smaller bear is climbing up the back of the bigger bear to gain a higher reach. Is this just a cute drawing for demonstrative purposes or do bruins really use eachother as ladders to steal our trail mix when we're snoozing?

BTW- my map is at least 8 years old & if there's a newer map out, have they discontinued the drawing b/c of the canister ruling in the HP?

Don't know if one bear will climb up on anothers back or not,

I do know that bears are a lot more imaginative about getting food then people are at keeping food away from them.

Somewhere I saw pictures of a sow with cubs doing that at the Marcy Dam food cable
