Outdoor Fire Pits/Rings

Does anyone know where I can get a cheap outdoor fire pit or a fire ring online or in a particular store?

I've been looking all around and its seems like I'm stuck with ebay again, and please don't send a walmart link.

My family and I want to have a blazin' fire while were up to wells for our annual vacation week.

You've found entire fire pits on ebay? I always thought you had to make them.

The one I built in the back yard is from stones I gathered from around the property, some having been recently dug up by Val doing some landscaping. It's not impressive in height but works very well. Looks good too.

If you want a structure (chimney and grate for cooking), then you'll need to lay some concrete then buy heat bricks that can be rather expensive. Concrete will break over time, so buying and stacking most stuff intended as decorative in the garden won't work.

That's about all I know of the subject. Or as Forest Gump would say "That's all I got to say about that!"

They sell those big copper fire pit bowls (about three feet across, with legs) at some hardware stores. I've also seen them at the Christmas tree shop, but who knows if they still have them. Call around. or get one of those ceramic "chimeneas" which is like a big clay pot with a hole in the side.
