Peak Identification as seen from Vermont

As suggested by AdRegion, attached are two sketeches of a portion of the ADK
as seen from South Burlington, Vermont. Peaks A through E are shown on both sketches. We think "A" is Giant and "E" is Marcy.

If anyone can help out on peak identification, I would be much obliged.

As I mentioned in the previous post, "Native American Place-Names", I'm working on an interpretive panel to be installed at the Spear Street overlook in South Burlington.

    thanks,

    Dan Senecal-Albrecht

      My opinion:
Peak L and the peak to the far right in the second picture is Whiteface Mt.

        Photo from VT attached

Robony: try this attached photo, all though it isn't much help since the mtns are hazy.

        Trailrunner 3: thanks

How does this look for the correctness of the angle?

seems about right. the left side of the drawing is more about 1-2 miles north of Meach Cove/Beach. the right side of the photo will show Juniper Island which is about 2 miles NE-East of of the Four Brothers.

I fixed it. It was me. I had to update Adobe reader.

It always gets dicey for me when I drive up Shelburne Road....I can tell you that from Addison, one can make out RPR, Dix, Macomb, Hough, and South/East Dix....I can never decide which one is which. Giant is visible as one heads to Vergennes, maybe sooner.

A better picture would help me a lot. I'm sure there re others here that will be able to use the one you have attached already.

heres my guesses so far from using google earth. Q is bald peak, R is harrington mtn, A is Giant/rockyridge.
                      more to come

                            Google Earth rocks!

You can do the same with World Wind, but the whole endeavor is making me dizzy.

I love Google Earth! Use it with your GPS from a point and you can see exactly what you should be looking at!!
