    Snow in the high peaks

Did the region get any snow from the storm this week? We received about 6" in Utica and I know Lowville received 3ft.

This coming weekend I'm heading up to a town on Lake Ontario that's just getting hammered right now. I think they're expecting 18-24 inches today with another 2 to 3 feet by the weekend. Personally, I'm a little freaked out, but hopefully I'll survive.

I live just east of Lake Ontario. A small town south of here got the worst of it today (Adams) and they got 9 inches in several hours time. They did get about 2 feet on Monday though and more lake effect is prdicted this weekend.
I've been waiting all winter for this kind of snow to XC ski and now that we finally got it we're heading north into Quebec to ski for the week-end. My kind of luck.

Does anyone know how much snow is in the Pharaoh Lake area?

Not much to speak of at Pharaoh. I climbed Treadway today and much of the trail had no snow at all. Ice was an issue in places, though.

Did the Esker Loop at the Paul Smiths VIC yesterday, couple of bare patches around the center, but once you get in the woods there is full coverage. Nice dry snow, should be good today.
