    My Peak Story(used in English)

I was asked in English today to right a blerb about when i've felt connected with Nature. Thought i would share.

"I was in the Adirondacks. It was a cold dreary day. We were hiking, our goal to bag four peaks. We started early, awaking at four and starting our adventure at five. We began by passing through the Ausable Club golfcourse. The dew was beginning to evaporate, fog was thick in the air and the groundskeeper was just starting his rounds, whizzing by in his six wheel gator. The trail head was beautiful, an intricate rustic design. Once we reached the trail for Gothics from pyramid it was apparent that we were ingulfing ourselves in a rugged adventure. The air was cool my breath reflecting every time i exhaled. The nature and I were one. When we reached the first peak after a few miles of strenuous climbing, I could feel my surroundings. The miles of trees, lakes and beuty stretching out of view. That day the rocks beneath my feet, the trees brushing up against me, and the beutiful surroundings lightened up that dreary day and the nature became apart of me. The adirondacks will always have a place in my life."

That was a nice story. Hope your teacher gave you a good mark on it.

Nice job, great imagery! Nature is a great inspiration when it comes to conveying sensory experiences on paper. Gothics is a great climb too, hope you enjoyed it. Did you get all four peaks in?
