Loj Campground
Has anyone used the campground at the Adirondcak Loj lately? If so what did you think of facility?

I personally love the place! I've been going there every year for about 5 or 6 years with my wife and kids. It's usually never been full when I've been there and that includes holiday weekends. Fellow campers have always been nice and respectful, no loud partying or late nighters making all kinds of noise. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It's a beautiful area and so many options as to what to do. I have heard others call it a tourist trap before. I don't agree with that, and if that's the case then call me a tourist cause I love it there and will continue staying there!! Plus, it's a great organization.*************ENDLESS WINTER************** -
I agree -- I like the place. As campgrounds go, the sites are mostly very well spaced out. It's very quiet and people are usually pretty friendly so you can strike up conversations with strangers, which is great for story swapping.
Most importantly its the hub of a slew of great hiking trails.Kurt Tietjen
