    Trip recommendation

    What would you suggest as a moderate day hike for Columbus Day weekend? A few friends have only hiked Cascade, Porter and Phelps - and are looking for a not-too-difficult "next" hike. I've done 18 myself and don't mind a challenge, (Redfield and Cliff were a bear last week) but I have to keep the entire group in mind. Any suggestions?

              Geeeiiijo, your list of completed hikes suggests that you might be looking for high peak suggestions only. Is that the case, or are you open to other possibilities as well?
