I think I`ve used it before.I kind of remember the piney smell and that it did work pretty good.I think I picked it up at Moose River Trading Post in Old Forge. Its not always easy to find.Hows it been working on the big toothy blackflies?/
Speaking of such,my brother and went up north friday and saw only small clusters of flies for alittle while and then were gone.Maybe it was the weather. It turned cloudy and cool and a breeze started. That may have kept them down. They`re little airports were`nt letting them take off.
That was o.k. with us!!!!
Anybody out there get chewed up yet?
WB"Get your mind off trout,if you can.I know they`ve got you.I can see it. Every fraternity of sufferers knows its brothers.Trout hook men;men don`t hook trout.Better try and throw the hook while you can.By the time you`re a grown man there probably won`t be a pure trout healthy enough to fiddle with"... http://www.peterickard.com/ has the fly dope. Its manufactured in Cobleskill NY, small company. Was in the Bleecker Benson area and encounter some black flies on a small tributary. But when i reached the main stream no flies. WeirdComment
