i know it has been spoken of before on these forums but i just wanted to let everyone know that i just got back from a trip to the high peaks region and my brother and i stayed at the cobble mountain lodge. it is located on the 86 going toward wilmington from lake placid (right across from the golf course). The place was fantastic and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. the cost was 55 dollars a night for a weekend night and we got 2 beds (comfy beds), a fridge, tv with cable, a microwave a very nice bathroom/shower. i will defiantely be staying there again when im not backpacking in the adks.
