Transportation needed from Lake Placid to Trailhead in Northville Aug 30

I'm planning a thru hike on the N-P trail starting on or within a day or two of August 30th. I plan to drive to Lake Placid, leave my vehicle, and I need to find transportation back to the trailhead. The catch is, I will be traveling with my golden retriever. He is very well behaved, but they do not allow him on the public transportation that is available. Does anyone have any suggestions? I e-mailed Kim, at B2B, as I've talked to her in the past about this, and she said that she would be able to help, but I received an email from her, or someone at B2B that there are medical problems in the family.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. I've been trying to plan this trip for the last two years, and I've finally settled on a date, the transportation is my only holdup.

    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

Trailhead to trailhead you're talking about $100.00 now for shuttle, with or without dog.

        Shuttle

THANK YOU! I can live with $100.00... That sounds great! If you could give me more on the company, or individual that is willing to shuttle me from north to south, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

As I stated in my previous request for information, that is just abou the ONLY thing that's holding up my plans.

        Thanks!

          Kim

Thanks for the information about Kim. I knew something was wrong last time I talked to her. It's a shame, and I'm sure she'll be missed.
