    This is scary news. Especially for the indiana bat who is already on the edangered list. The Adirondacks famous bug populations are kept in check each night by the billions, as the many bat species within the region work their majic each night. If a disease like this goes unchecked it could proove devistating to not only the bats, but to the plants that will be ravaged by the excess bugs that feed on them (like moths for example). Also the skeeters that we all love so much could have a population boom. Bats are such a key species in the nature of things, I really hope this disease is put in check quickly.
