I was driving near the Burlington waterfront and in the sky over Lake Champlain I saw a silhouette of a HUGE bird soaring. I knew it was way too big to be a gull or a cormarant. I pulled over, took out my binoculars & got out to have a better look. Sure enough it was an adult Bald Eagle soaring over the lake. The lake seemed to be real busy with gulls and waterfowl flying everywhere.
Because it's so cold today the lake has smoke rising all over it and towering in the background are great views of Giant, RPR and company.
not a bad way to spend your lunchbreak!
