Need three more pieces of information.

    1. Are you using true North or magnetic North?

    2. Are all the coordinates from the State Capito (The first waypoint?) or is each coordinates base from the prior waypoint?

    3. Nad 27,or Nad83? Which datum?

      Redhawk,

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned these - I didn't think about them.
I hope folks find this interesting (or at least fun to do a couple)

      1. True North.
      2. each corrdinate is from the prior coordinate and they are all distinct features or towns.
      3. NAD 83/WGS84 Datum

            Good job Hawk!

How did you come up with the solution...topo software, GPS or the old fashioned way?

"Lift" is another name for elevator.

Missed that part about "What is so unique about it" concerning Marcy.

Also the reason for the name with Heart Lake but I wouldn't have known that witout looking it up.

I think it gives people a chance to practice with their software or maps.

I'll play some more but won't post my results for a while to give others an opportunity.

I've used the software for an awful long time so I have a real advantage.

Fvrwld, and Wilderness Photo could use some practice. I know there are others who have software.

Little tough doing it using just topos, if you had em all and most don't.

OK, Here's one for the Christmas Party - Please, no one post an answer here yet, but feel free to solve it on your own.
As Hawk had pointed out previously, here are the criteria

Find Feature 4.12 miles @ 29.82d. Why could one yell “Thar she Blows" from this Feature?
