    Wells Museum

The Wells Museum has a fantastic display of newspaper articles and photographs on the seconf floor with the history of the area. To see how thriving, "Wellsville", "Pickletown", Griffin and Gilmantown were in the 19th to early 20th century is just remarkable.

I really advise anyone interested in Adirondack History to visit this gem of a museum.

It's open on the weekend and admission is free. You can mnake a donation if you want.
