Ok, I will chime in here

I am not much of a photographer but I did manage to catch this shot. He/she gave us a few minutes to use up our batteries in the cameras.

My pics of the dacks are at:
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v1...r/Adirondacks/ and then click on the peak.

My wife has a number of critter shots from our home in Bolton. She used to be an artist and that comes out in how she frames a pic and her attention to small details. She can no longer paint due to a terminal illness so her camera is her only artistic outlet.

My favorite is this one of our cat in the driveway

The photo of the little sparrow on the branch during the storm is very well composed!

        Actually...

I just got a chance to flip past the first page, and the wealth and depth of the photo collection is truly impressive. All due compliments to your wife. Some of these photos really stir the imagination--the swing set between the trees, for instance.

        Great stuff.

Thanks, I will pass it on. I am quite impressed with her abilities. You should see the ones she "throws away" on her hard drive!

Only in an effort to spread the word, as she calls it, here is a link to a Post Star article about her. Whenever I brag about her pics she makes me tell the whole story so maybe someone else does not have to go through it. She can not hike anymore and our last climb was Thomas Mtn in 2004.

              She's definitely got "the eye".
