    Need help.

I shot some video while out on a hike recently. The recording medium is a little DVD-R disc. Now, when I put the disc into my PC's DVD my PC acts as if the disc was blank. What the hell?

You may need a driver to read the mini dvds or the file format from the camcorder. Did it come with any software?
has it ever worked properly for you before?
are you sure it really recorded, it might actually be blank.

Oh no, it recorded perfectly. It was a borrowed camcorder. I've never used one before. I'd thought I'd pop it in and hit upload on youtube.

Perhaps there is a driver I can d-load from the net?

What do you mean?? Doesnt the camera you were using have a "upload to youtube" button on it? Tell the guy you borrowed it from to get a better model!
