I'm sure we have all seen something different in the Mountains as we've hiked along. Digging through old pictures for Lean To's, I saw a few pictures that I would like to share with others that I have seen that were unique, whether they be artifacts, airplane remains, remenants of Lumber Camps or whatever. There must be something that everyone would like to share as well. I will go look again and start posting a few of my own.

Great idea Marta. I have always been fascinated by this part of Adirondack history. I'm amazed that it happened at all. The process is even more amazing.
Last year we found many artifacts while hiking through Ouluska Pass.
