    Loon Pics

I took this this week while paddling on the Bog River Flow. I would love to see others pictures of loons. Post them here!

Awesome pics! It looks like you were pretty close, or do you have a high powered lens?

We got pretty close to them. These pics were taken with just the 3x zoomon my digital camera. I am eagerly waiting for Gary's pics to be developed as he took the same shots with a high powered(I think) lens.

              Loon picture from Long Pond

I took this last July, while canoe camping on Long Pond. It is at a bit of a distance, but this loon pair swam past our campsite, as the sun was getting low in the sky... (I have never posted a pic to the forums before...hope this works!)

I love seeing loons. A bunch spend the winter down by me on Long Island and I see a lot of them paddling my kayak around.

Anyone needing space for photos that won't move, let me know..... I've got a slew of hosting space and some decent gallery functionality......

                              I "reattached" them.

The disappearance must me a result of when this happened...http://www.adkforum.com/showthread.php?t=3464

Kurtteej, do you have any pics of the loons in thier winter garb? If so, I would love to see them.
