    Digicam with Polarizing filter.

If I want to use a polarizing filter with a dig. camera does that mean I need to purchase a more expensive camera?

It depends on your camera. You may be able to get a lens adapter and polarizer for your camera. If you post your camera model, myself or someone else may be able to point you in the right direction.

many of the small so called point-and-shoot cameras have lens adaptors that you can purchase with kits usually include neutral-density, skylight and sometimes the polarizer. You probably won't get a circular polarizer that can change intensity like a DSLR camera, but I recommend that you check out B&H Photo Video (bhphotovideo.com), you can always email them.
