    extra power AA battery

    Here is a link:

It's a new AA battery that Panasonic is going to offer.

It should be good for cameras etc....

I'm pretty happy with my Nimh rechargeables. I get about 1000 pictures with a set before recharging (I don't use a lot of flash) for my digital camera and I get about 33% longer performance in my GPS.

At 1000 recharges, I just can't beat the price (especially since I drain em to nothing before recharging to get the maximum distance out of them).

And "Extra power" won't add any advantage to my uses.

I'm also a NiMH fan, use some 2400mah and Duracell 2300mah rechargeables.

In the extreme cold (say teens or colder) I still have to use lithiums, no alkaline or rechargeable battery seems to work well in the cold. If these new ones perform in the cold then I'm sold .

Last year I picked up some NiMH (2400 mAh), I use them in my camera, bicycle lights and GPS. I've been pleased so far.
In cold weather I still use Energizer Lithiums.
I hate the lithium price ($10.00 for four) but I still want them for cold weather use.
When the new Panasonics come out this summer, I may test some in my freezer.
        Regards,
        John

You must have a big freezer.
