Northern Maine

I've been to Baxter in all seasons but winter. We're trying to find a nice secluded cabin/4 walls and a roof type place, with no amentities except a door. All I can find are 50's style mom and pop places. Does anyone have any information that could point me in a good direction? My goal is to hike into Chimney Pond on the 31st. Complete stay will be from the 28th -> 2nd
We hope to do this cheaply.
