    Wonders never cease....

I found this place just 22 minutes driving from my new house. It is Mud Pond and is a 1.8 mile hike in on the Midstate trail and complete solace. I thought I was on the NLP.
I cannot wait to being my little one up here for lots of easy overnights

      What a gorgeous spot!

I'm guessing this is a popular location in warmer weather by the way the surrounding area has been cleared of firewood. It looks like Kevin, Jeff and Sir Redhawk spent the night there!

Hey don't include me with those two, when it comes to fires. I like small, managable fires, just big enough to handle the task at hand and not mess up my night vision.

Those two are in a class of their own!!

Hey Rick. Whats with this sheep thing?

Anything we need to be aware of?

Aaaah, I thought I would get a picture of a barnyard animal for kicks - My wife wanted to to take our little one to a petting zoo - We had to pay to get in and pay for feed..... I felt SHEEPISH doing this (after having grown up farming) and have a good mind to make him go work on a neighboring farm when he gets a little older. You should see the animal I have in my avatar at VFTT. I have no clue what it is - Some kinda mongolian goat or something.
